Our Commitment to the Community

Generali Central aims to continue investing towards CSR initiatives in 2025-26 in collaboration with non-profits by executing projects covering the focus areas of GCI that will have long-term benefits and measurable impact.

THSN Anganwadi Project (I)

Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has been implementing the THSN Anganwadi project in 24 Anganwadi centers in Jharsuguda district of Odisha in collaboration with United Way Mumbai. The project focuses on school readiness & parentability, works with children directly and makes them school-ready during their formative years of development by working on their developmental milestones such as cognitive, social, and emotional development. The project has impacted 2500+ beneficiaries.

THSN Anganwadi Project (II)

Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has been implementing the THSN Anganwadi project in 28 Anganwadi centers in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan and 19 Anganwadi centers in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with Bal Raksha Bharat (also known as Save the Children India). The project focuses on school readiness & parentability, works with children directly and makes them school-ready during their formative years of development by working on their developmental milestones such as cognitive, social, and emotional development. The project has impacted 3500+ beneficiaries.

Providing Education and Skill building support to LGBTQI+ community

Under this project, Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has collaborated with The Humsafar Trust on providing education and skill building support to 50 individuals from the LGBTQI+ community in Mumbai and Pune. With the support provided, the chances of them being educated and qualified increases alongwith being employed post undergoing courses on upskilling themselves. The project will be implemented in Mumbai.

Providing Education Support to Girls

As part of this project, Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has partnered with KC Mahindra Education Trust to provide secondary education to 300 girls from Std 6-10 in Amritsar, Punjab. The project aims at providing academic support imparting 21st century skills covering digital literacy, financial literacy, and life skills to all Nanhi Kalis during school hours, providing holistic development through physical education and sports module including jumping, skipping, shuttle run, calisthenics etc. For Nanhi Kalis after school hours, providing a Nanhi Kali Kit consisting of sporting materials, stationery, and feminine hygiene materials, and conducting rural engagements with stakeholders to create girl-friendly ecosystems.

Providing Healthcare Support to the Differently Abled

Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has collaborated with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled to provide assistive devices like artificial limb, wheelchair, hearing aids, braille watches etc. depending upon the kind and degree of disability to them to 50 individuals who are differently abled in Kerala and ensure they live independently. The project enhances their employment and livelihood opportunities, trains the caregivers, support professionals, and ensure proper device operations, reduces stress of the caregivers and works on improving the quality of life of people who are differently abled.

Responsible Roots

Under this project, Generali Central Insurance Company Limited has partnered with Catch Foundation to plant 1 lakh trees in the NSG Campus Manesar, Haryana. It will help with carbon offset by absorbing CO2, enhance biodiversity, soil fertility, and groundwater recharge through the plantation of native tree species.
