This product is designed, in-line with IRDAI‘s direction, to provide health insurance cover to persons with disabilities (including mental illness) and persons afflicted with HIV / AIDS.

Sum Insured Options: 4 Lacs and 5 Lacs

Coverage of Basis: Individual

Cataract Treatment: Up to Rs. 40000

AYUSH & Modern Treatment: Up to 50% of Sum Insured each.

Emergency Ground Ambulance: up to Rs. 2000 per hospitalization.

ELIGIBILITY

Persons with disability: All Persons with disability who have at least one of the disabilities as defined under specified disability under The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 with valid disability certificate are eligible to enroll this product.

Individuals with HIV/AIDS: Any person suffering from HIV/AIDS, with a diagnostic test report confirming the evidence of HIV/AIDS would be covered on indemnity basis for In-patient hospitalization.

What is covered?

Hospitalization Expenses

Expenses of hospitalization for a minimum period of 24 consecutive hours
Pre-Hospitalization and Post-Hospitalization

For 30 days prior to the date of Hospitalization and For 60 days from the date of discharge from the Hospital
Cataract Treatment

Up to Rs. 40,000 per eye in one Policy Year.
Modern Treatment

Covered for listed procedures up to 50% of sum insured available for Inpatient Hospitalization Care.
Emergency Ground Ambulance

Expenses covered up to Rs. 2000 per hospitalization
AYUSH Treatment

Covered up to 50% of sum insured, during each policy year.
Sublimit for Room/ Medical Practitioner’s fee

Room Rent, Boarding, and Nursing Expenses all-inclusive as provided by the Hospital / Nursing Home up to maximum of 1% of the sum per day.Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Charges / Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU) Charges all-inclusive as provided by the Hospital / Nursing home up to maximum of 2% of the sum insured per day.

Waiting period

• Initial Waiting Period - 30 days for all claims, except resulting from Accident.
• Pre-Existing Diseases - 36 months (other than the pre-existing disability and HIV/AIDS).
• Specific Disease/Illness - 24 months.
• HIV AIDS Waiting period - 30 days.
• Disability Waiting period - 24 months.

What is Not Covered?

Any medical treatment taken outside India.
Suicide, Intentional self-injury (including but not limited to the use or misuse of any intoxicating drugs or alcohol) and any violation of law or participation in an event / activity that is against law with a criminal intent.
Vaccination/ inoculation except as post bite treatment for animal bite.
Venereal /Sexually Transmitted disease other than HIV/AIDS
Stem Cell storage.
