Sivapriya Kuppusubramaniam
Sivapriya Kuppusubramaniam comes with an experience of 25+ years across the insurance industry, spanning life, general insurance, and health, with exposure to both Indian and London markets. With her strong understanding of risk, actuarial, and business dynamics developed over the years, she is responsible for strengthening the risk management framework and fostering a culture of risk awareness and governance in alignment with the overall strategic direction of the Company.
She joined Generali in 2020 and has been leading Risk Management since March 2025. Prior to this, she held key roles across actuarial functions including pricing, reserving, and regulatory reporting, where she consistently applied a risk-based approach to business decision-making.
Sivapriya has built her career across diverse insurance domains including motor, health, and commercial lines. Prior to joining Generali, she worked with organisations such as Life Insurance Corporation of India, Reliance General Insurance, and has international experience through TCS and a London-based pension firm.
She holds a Master’s degree in Actuarial Management from CASS Business School, London, and is nearing completion of her actuarial qualification. She has also completed a certification in Cybersecurity Leadership and Management, further strengthening her expertise in emerging risk areas.
Ms. Sivapriya is married to Mr. Kuppusubramaniam and has one daughter and one son. Her leisure interests include yoga, music, nature, and mentoring.
